Our Story
The University College of Water Science and Engineering (UWSE) is a private institution based in Ghana. Its establishment in February 2023 is in response to the imperative to contribute towards attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within Sub – Saharan Africa region through the intensification of water science and engineering education.
The University College of Water Science and Engineering, is fully registered with the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and the Ghana Registrar General Department (Registration. No. CS136260823). The UCWSE intends to run bachelor and postgraduate programmes tailored at empowering students with advanced art, science and engineering skills within the core foundational competencies of emerging AI and computational analysis, in addition to promoting and nurturing an entrepreneurial mind and skill-set for every student.
At the University College of Water Science and Engineering (UCWSE), we believe every student has a unique talent that needs to be nurtured to full maturity to meet the needs and demands of our ever changing society. We believe that, every one has a part to play if the world is to attain the objectives of the SDGs. Young people particularly need to be nurtured and mentored to enable them unlock their potentials and contribute meaningfully to the vast and fast changing needs of society.
